KSJI SUPREME SUBORDINATE NIGERIA THANKSGIVING OF A NEW BEGINNING…

February 1st, 2026 marks a journey of a New Beginning for the KSJI Supreme SUBORDINATE NIGERIA as the New Board was Spiritually inaugurated at a National Thanksgiving Mass celebrated at the Catholic Church of the Ascension Commandery 882 International airport.

It will be another 4 Years of rebuilding, strengthening and consolidating on Spirituality, Discipline, Charity and Nobility of the Order.

The interesting feature and beauty of the National Thanksgiving Mass and inauguration of the New SSB Board Nigeria is that Lagos Grand Commandery is hosting SSB Nigeria for the next four (4) Years.

The Lagos Grand Commandery under the leadership of the New Grand President, Brigadier General Paulinus Nwankwo played host to Brother Knights and Ladies Auxiliary from different Grand Commandries in Nigeria.

It was an official change of guards ceremony in the traditional culture and style of KSJI spiritual blessings to newly elected officers of the Order.
The immediate past SSP Major General Remi Uche and Noble Sister Chinwe Mgbajiaka officially handed over to the incoming SSB Nigeria headed by Major General Joachim CHUKS AMANGBO and the SSAP Lady Nonye Okafor.

Other SSB elected members included Brig. General Bona Ugwuja SS 1st Vice, Brig. Gen. Chijioke Ikechukwu SS 2nd Vice.

Brig. Gen. Cletus Ntong SS Treasurer. Brig. Gen. Polycarp David SS Trustee 1.
Brig. Gen. Peter Osamgbi. Trustee 2.

The Mass was celebrated by the Arch Bishop of Lagos ably represented by Monsignor John Aniagwu and Monsignor Benard Okudua as well as most of KSJI Spiritual Advisers.

The Lagos Grand Commandery in the same spirit will held her Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, February 15th, 2026 at the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration, VGC. Details of the event coming soon. Enjoy the photo gallery.
